I left life in the U.S. to return to Nicaragua and rebuild my family’s coffee farm — a place that had been quiet for years. That’s how Emense Coffee began. It started with a dream to bring the farm back to life and create something meaningful from the ground up.

Meet The Team!
Fresh beans and tortillas
Meet Blanca, who has been living at the farm for over a decade. Before coming to the farm, she worked as a cook in a restaurant. Now, she brings her culinary skills to the farm, whipping up amazing dishes for us. Trust us when we say that the food tastes even better when it's cooked over an old-school, handmade stove. We are incredibly grateful to have Blanca with us.
Bikes and cameras
Allow us to introduce Jose, who is Blanca's son and is only 8 years old. He enjoys riding his bike around the farm and loves getting involved behind the scenes in our YouTube videos, where he's learning how to operate the camera. Jose has spent his entire life at the farm, and we're happy to have him as part of our community.
Baseball and coffee
Meet Victor, who has been living at the farm for over a decade. He enjoys playing baseball with the local community and excels at being the team's pitcher. In addition to baseball, he oversees the day-to-day operations of our farm. We're thrilled to have Victor and his family as part of our team as we work to rebuild the farm.

What if I don’t like the coffee?
No stress, no hard feelings. If your first bag isn’t what you hoped for, we’ll refund it. We stand behind every roast.
How long does the coffee take to arrive?
We roast 2–3 days after your order and ship within 1–2 business days after roasting. U.S. orders typically arrive within 5–8 business days. You’ll get tracking as soon as it ships.
Is your coffee mold-free?
Yes — our coffee is specialty-grade and carefully processed to meet high quality standards. It’s roasted fresh and stored properly to ensure a clean, mold-free cup.
What grind size should I order?
Here’s a quick guide based on how you brew:
- Whole Bean – best for freshness (grind just before brewing)
- Coarse – for French press or cold brew
- Medium – for drip machines or pour-over
- Fine – for espresso or moka pot
